Have you check your audio if the driver is installed..?

to check;

click start>settings>control panel>system>hardware>device manager = then check the audio controller, if it has a question mark on it ( ? ) meaning your hardware driver are not installed..

After i reformat my Dell GX280 the internal speaker is not working anymore...i tried to install audio driver but its not workong what should i do?

If your referring to your main speaker (the green headphone jack at the back of your motherboard). If you are using windows7 try changing your setting to Headphones instead of Line-out or Speaker-out.
Hope that gives you an idea...

You may have to open the system and see if there are manufacturers names and model numbers for some of the devices you are seeking drivers for. Most of this hardware has not been supported by Dell to use with Vista or Windows 7, however, if you find drivers for windows 7, it uses the same cire as Vista so they may work.

Dell Optiplex GX280 - On power ON , no Fan movement no display

Confirm no leaking or bulging capacitors on your mothboard.
refer to here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague

As this was a common problem with the GX280.
If found, you will need to replace the capacitors.

The other check is to make sure the heatsink is fitted correctly, perhaps reaply the thermal paste if you have any. I know that high temps would switch the GX280 off.

Check for updated drivers and install if available. If that does not resolve the issue completely remove the card and any software and drivers and do a clean install with the new drivers

Dell GX280 Dextop: Very Low volume on Headphones

Are these USB headphones? If so, you must install them first and let the Device Manager confirm they are properly installed. Next, go to sound properties in control panel, select the headphones, and crank the volume within Windows. Finally, crank the volume controls on the headphones themselves. If they are not USB headphones, then the same sound jacks that allow speakers to be connected should allow the headphones to work.
