My Oasis Active instant messenger is not working. I can read messages, but cannot send them, i.e. nothing happens when I press send. How can I fix this?

Sometimes cannot send messages,also they keep telling me my profile is incomplete.I ha e filled out four forms.

this could happen if you have the latest version of ym on your computer and the one you're sending messages to has the old version, make sure both of you are using the latest version of ym

Hi...

This problem are mostly happen because of many barrier in instant messaging. I am a cafe attendant before and my customer keep complaining me about this problem. The solution of this problem is you need to sign out first and sign in again. If the same things happen you need to restart you computer to fix this problem.

go to program files, find acceories then find system restore. click on it and a box should open asking you to choose a restore point. go back as many days as you can remember yahoo mess working. if that doesn't work, uninstall yahoo messenger and download and reinstall it again

You most likely lost connection to the internet or to the Yahoo server. Check your connectivity and retry to send the message. If that doesn't work, try updating your chat and making sure that any antivrius software or blockers (such as PeerBlock) are not interfering with your chat settings. Yahoo messenger is not working chat is not work
1.You possibly have scripting disabled in Internet Explorer.
To Enable your Scripting:
Click Tools, >>Click Internet Options, >>Click Security tab, Click Custom Level.

now, Scroll down to
Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting - √check it to Enable
Scroll to Scripting - Active Scripting - √Check Enable
Click Apply then Click OK
CLick OK again.
now, REstart your Internet Explorer.


2.Open Messenger and click Messenger on the toolbar, scroll to Preferences, click, scroll to Messages, click.

In the second box, Pressing Enter in a message window, fill in the box next to "Sends the message".

Click Apply, then OK and immediately reboot your computer. When you reopen and go to your Messenger, Enter will now be sending your messages.

Problem in sending message from yahoo messenger
It will be that the receipient hasnt opened the email maeesage if you have receipt of message facility active, or that the email address you have is wrong or typed in incorrectly. Either way, if the message hasnt reached the receipient's mail server then you wil get an error message saying this.

I cannot read anything that people type, even when i type my message and press enter, nothing comes out. what should i do? i tried installing Yahoo messenger again, but still the same thing happens.
Check to make sure you are actually online and signed in when you are typing into the message box. Also make sure that your cursor is in the message box before you start typing.

I cant see text when chatting on yahoo messenger. It has been working well until today.
I had the same problem.
Luckyly I found an easy solution.

Close yahoo messenger
STEP -1
go to Start Button - Run - type regsvr32 jscript.dll - then press OK
STEP-2
go to Start Button - Run - type regsvr32 vbscript.dll - then press OK

After that everything worked smoothly.

Unable to chat
If you are using Java Chat or Chat2.0 with the SUN Java Runtimes, your Instant messages will not leave the input line when you press "send" or enter. To fix this problem, go to start, settings, control panel, internet options, click the "advanced" tab and scroll down to "Java (SUN)". Remove the check from "Use Sun Java".
