My dryer is a Amana gas dryer ALG866SCW 7.0. Everything works but there is no heat. I tested the wires (ignitor, coil, etc.) and all looks good. The only thing seems to be that the ignitor (witch I have replaced) is not getting the message to heat up and so the gas valve never opens. I hope you can help me with this little bit of info. You have any questions please ask. Thanks

Thank you for your help. I checked and the flame sensor seems fine, but there's a little connector box (or safety switch?) that mounts on the fan frame that feeds to the sensor witch has power to it but not coming out. I sure thats it. Thanks again for your help.

There is a flame sensor on the side of the flame housing. Jump the 2 wires out and see if the ignitor glows then. If so you need a flame sensor.
