Change from lcd moniter to view finder

Try this, in your manual at the bottom of pg. 229 that says, "If you turn off the power while the 'shooting settings display' screen is displayed, the same screen will be displayed when you turn on the power again. To avoid this, press the <INFO> button to turn off the display on the LCD monitor, then turn off the power switch."
The converse also applies. Get into the shooting settings display with the INFO button and power down. The display will come on when you power up again.
It also solved my problem of getting the mode selection button selections to show on the LCD when needed.

Posiflex jiva tp5800 screen turned red on the bottom and now its black

This is related to the backlight of the lcd screen. It could be the light itself or the inverter. The parts are available: http://www.posiflexusa.com/SP_LCDRepairKit.php

When I turn the camera on the display does not light up. I have tried a new battery and it still won't light. It is model EX-Z1050

You have to find the bottom in your camera that enables the screen display on. Try from the menu/setting bottoms. It is not because of the battery. The screen display option needs to be trun on.
