Question about Gateway Computers & Internet
Wireless intenet disconnect every 5 min i try make everything like make full recovery and i try reinstall driver i talk to customer support they tell me to send it by mail but it need 7 busniess day i need the computer i work in FOREX , so i want to change the computer in otherone the same specification or DELL i buy it before 40days .
Troubleshooting wireless is often a multi-step process. Step one is always to bring up the STATUS window and sit there for 10 to 20 minutes (get a strong coffee first) and simply watch the signal strength. To do this (assuming you let Windows manage your wireless) right click on the wireless icon in the system tray in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen and in the pop-up menu click on STATUS. Note the number of bars that are green, sip coffee, repeat for as long as needed to confirm that there is no "drop out" of the signal received.
Step two depends on the results of step 1. If the signal droped out your problem is either the wireless transmitter, EMI or the laptop's ability to receive. More on that later. First, what was the result of step one?
