The buttons on the top (by 2 users)

The buttons on the top half of my SGH-U600 do not correspond when I touch them, but the number buttons do work?

I am having similar issues. The right half of the phone works fine. The other buttons are doubling or not coressponding. eg. I push the button "4" and get "45". It is barely useable.
