I'm trying to connect my headset to my Playstation3. I've inserted disk and connected USB to adapter. Disk does not read, or where do I go to make it read, so I can install wireless headset software?
wireless bluetooth headset devices must be paired or registered with your system before use. to do this go to settings on the ps3 -> accessory settings -> manage bluetooth devices -> turn on your bluetooth device then click register new device
from there you may have to enter a pass key which comes in print with your device or if you bought the device used, you could use the default passkey of 0000
hope this helps. please rate me thanks and good luck.
if the headset is bluetooth then the ps3 should be able to connect with it while its in pairing mode form the settings menu. if the headset will not function without other software then the ps3 cannot use them. the ps3 will only read the select music, video, and game discs.

no power-up, not charging. I plug the charger into the port, see a brief, less than a half-second red flash, then nothing. I was listening to music one day, then a call came in. The sound faded quickly and the headset just died.

When a call is received and I pickup, there is a loud sound, like a door slamming as the headset makes connection. Both the caller and I hear it. The headset is charged, the connection is live because I hear the ring in the headset but the noise occurs after I press the connect button. I am using an HTC 8900. Any ideas?
