Tips for a great answer:
If it is
a new connection you are setting up then check the Display settings for your
PS3. You can check it by--
setting, display setting and choose the cable type and then try to do the test.
See this link for details--
issue is not resolved then try using Component cables for the connection
and check whether the PS3 works. If this works then connect the HDMI cable
after the component cable is connected & then the PS3 will locate the
cable. It'll then ask you whether you want to use the HDMI cable connection,
select yes from there. And, if this doesn't resolve the issue then try
connecting it with another TV or else this is a hardware issue with the PS3,
not the TV. If it is less than 90 days old then you get it replaced and get a
