plug it into your usb cable and hoook in upto your computer/laptop
wait 2 minutes
hold down the power on/phone down button for 12 seconds
then double tap menu

- Today I was using my Shadow phone and hat set it down for awhile, when i picked it back up to use it, the screen was no longer working. I do not understand why, I didn't drop it or anything. I can receive calls and such but the screen stays completely black no matter what I do.- Nicholie
