Stand by my 13 inches tv don't stay on;it turn and off all the time,how can fix that?

No Model number, '50 inch' is just a size.



Can it be fixed? Yes, they can all be fixed.

Is it worth it? Unlikely. Polaroid are a camera maker and don't have a good name in televisions.

Likely a bad connection in the set, considering a 13 inch it may cost more to fix than to just buy another set. Most of these 13 inch sets are not very well made to begin with.

thats just the way they are, i have a 32 inch samsung flat screen and you just have to turn it off from the plug, i guess its a safety thing to make sure you do switch it off by the mains. they used to tell you that in the 70's after the last programme finished at midnight, ''and don't forget to turn off the tv and switch it off by the mains'' i just hope its easy to reach for you

There is a logic board in this unit that is malfunction. Standby does not mean everything is okay and there is no tricks to get it out of standby wihtout bringing it in to have it repaired.

You will have to contact sony customer support. The 13 blinks indicates a balancer bad. The balancer is part of the LCD panel. The Tv can'[t be much more than a year old. The panel will require replacement. Sony will probably direct you to an authorized servicer. Let me know if I can be of further assistance

Plug it into a power strip and turn off the power strip as well as the TV. I've been told that newer TVs are always "on" - standby mode- and someone probably has a device somewhere in the near vicinity that is turning it on. (Or your cat is watching it when you're not home.) Or you could just unplug it when you leave.
