Acer eNet Management

I have an Acer Extensa 5620 notebook. After booting up I get an alternating popup (actually fade in fade out) message. The first message says "Acer eNet Management Internet Connected"; the alternating message says "Acer eNet Management Internet Disconnected". This keeps up constantly and the best I can figure it has something to do with the wireless internet connection, which I do not use. What do you suggest I do to stop the alternating messages? It's almost as annoying as popups.
Thanks.

My travelmate 6292 will not connect to the router D-link 615 so I am forced to use an external usb receiver which functions perfecctly. Can this problem be solved without contacting ACER?
    Thanks.

Do you have "What do you suggest I do to stop the alternating messages? It's almost as annoying as popups." I get an alternating popup (actually fade in fade out) message. the alternating message says "Acer eNet Management Internet Disconnected" Here is my solution!!! :)

First 'Right-click on task bar', TASK BAR IS AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SCREEN' then click on 'Properties'. Click on 'Notification Area', Click on 'Customize', Look for WLAN(disconnected), Click on it and choose 'HIDE', Click 'OK', then click 'APPLY', then click 'OK' and now you have no more annoying message. TOO EASY MATE ;)

Let me know if that was what you were wanting. Feedback is important. The other two answers were insufficient and had not explained anything relevant to my problem. Therefore, I was forced to further investigate the issue on my own. Thanks mate, a pat on the back for you :)

How do i enable pop up windows

Firefox is a free alternative Web browser to Microsoft Internet Explorer.
If you have opted to use Firefox and are having trouble using specific websites that require popup windows, you can alter the popup blocker settings in Firefox.

Click the "Firefox" button and then click "Options."
Click the "Content" tab.

Locate the line that reads "Block pop-up windows" and click the "Exceptions" button next to it.
Enter the full URL of the site for which you want to allow popup windows.
Click the "Allow" button to add that site to your exceptions list.

Continue adding URLs as necessary until all of your exceptions have been added, then close the Allowed Sites window and the Options window.

I installed Windows 7 and now I do not have Acer eNetManagement Heading now

enet management was pre installed when you purchased it. You may be able to reinstall with the disks that were provided when you purchased the Acer. If you do not have the disks you can go to acer support and you should be able to download it. Good Luck

Popup stated "I-Worm.Trojan.b" found on your computer.

Download Avast from download.com Avast is a very good free software that will set the record straight on whether you have a virus or not. When you download it, change all the settings to high so it scans archive files as well. And make sure you do a boot scan.

Enet management problem

Sounds like you are having problems connecting to your wireless network?
If so, disable eNet Management and reboot. If problem is still there, reboot your router. If problem is still there, update router firmware.
If you can see the networks but not connect to them, it is a router problem.

Acer eNet Management

my daughter just right clicks the icon on the task bar and exits the program on her acer, she still accesses the internet, this kept getting on nerves too with the bubble popping up saying connected, disconnected, just right click it and exit it, and it should solve your problem.
