Question about Maytag M7Y15F2A Air Conditioner
The digital temperature control changes on its own and will raise the temperature. I have unplugged the unit hoping that it would "reset" but that didn't work. This problem began with it happening occasionally and now it is almost everytime I try to use it.
At first it seemed if I adjusted the temp using the remote, it seemed more likely to stay at the temp it was set at. Now it doesn't seem to matter.
The lower the temp., the more likely it is to stay at that temp.
Thank you for your assistance!
It' worth a service call. If there is a need to get into the electrical or diagnos a pc boar problem. Good Luck. A tech can probably go sraight to the problem. Ned
