Ink tank errors have occurred

I have installed a new CLI-8BK tank as I have done before. This time I am getting subject error message. The red ink tank lamps are on. The Alarm light on the printer key board is on. The error message comes back on after pushing "OK". The printer remains off.

Please restate item #6 of your instruction:
Once you click “Power”, to confirm the selected action (reset
counter absorber). To disable the printer “Power” button to click again.

When consulting PIXMA MP530 User's Guider (QT5-0210-V01) you will find that there is no Resume button (red circle in triangle) on the keyboard. There is a Stop/Reset button ( red triangle in circle). Please clarify instructions!

Please clarify #6 of the procedure. I followed #1 Through #5 without success.

Repeat comment: Please clarify #6 of the procedure, I did #1 through #5 without success.

These instructions are not clear. I have tried them several times without success. Should the data cable be connected or not? Upon punching the power button (procedure #6) the alarm light comes on. Is there a Canon service center in Houston?

Hi,

  1. Turn off the printer
  2. Hold the Resume Button (red circle in the triangle), add a printer (click “Power”) an indicator light green.
  3. Hold the Power Button, release the Resume Button.
  4. Not releasing the Power Button, double click “Resume” and release Both Buttons.
  5. Click “Resume” for Four times
  6. Once you click “Power”, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber). To disable the printer “Power” button to click again.

Why is print quality poor after inserting new ink. Copies are faint and have lines

the cartridge is clogged with ink that has dried and reduced the slit. you need to replace the cartridge with a new one. it happens usually if you recharge the cartridge 3 or 4 times with compatible ink.

How does the bulb look? Is it bright or kind of dim. The bulb warming error is designed to halt use of the machine until the scanner bulb reaches the correct output level. As these are basically a flourescent tube, they will dim over time and at a certain point they will not generate enough light to enable proper scanning. If the bulb is dim, it will require replacement.

My fax wont work in my ricoh aficio 1515 mf??

Using the 1515 as a fax machine is a pretty simple procedure if everything works right. All you have to do is hook a working phone line up to the phone jack on the back of the copier (the one labeled LINE, not TEL).

Why won't the fax work? If it is giving you an error message, what is the message?

If you are not getting a dial tone when faxing, unplug the fax from the phone line and plug a working phone in, and see if the phone gets a dial tone. If it doesn't, there is a problem with your phone line.

You can also try plugging the fax machine into another phone line. If the fax works on that line, then there may be a problem with the first line.

Are you having problems sending faxes or receiving them, or both?

Printer won't recognize cartridge

I had the same problem. I'm not sure but I think I replaced the cartridges when the printer was on because I turned the printer off and removed one of the cartridges. When I turned the printer back on it recognized that cartridge but not the others. I turned the printer off again, rmoved all cartiridges and put them back in when the printer was still off. When I turned the printer on again I had no problems. So...try turning off the printer, rmove all cartridges, then put them back in and restart printer. Hope this works for you .
