And you can't reset it a second time? If you bricked it, you should visit your phone store and ask them to do the reset. I hope you do make backups so now and then.

do you see the bios starup....or is the screen totally blanc as you switch on? if the screen is totally blanc then it maybe the monitor cable is u/s, if the startup screen appears and nothing else, then the hard drive is either u/s or you need to reload your operating system.

I just fixed two of these by replacing electrolytic capacitors in the power supply (in one unit, just the 2x1500uF smoothing caps, in the other I also had to replace a couple of 470uF). Diagnosed solely on the basis of the caps having 'swollen' tops (indicating that the electrolyte has dried?). Make sure you use 105 deg capacitors of the correct voltage. Symptoms were exactly as you describe.

Fmiliair proble, check not the plugs on the screen but the ones on the back of the PC, when the screws are not used the plug sometimes get a little loose and when the monitor gets no signal it will go blanc.
However, power lights on monitor should still be visible.

Have you guys...try to open your OSD on your monitor and blanced the colors or adjust the WB (white blanced) settings....

Sounds like the charger is faulty.
