Question about SanDisk 2GB Memory Stick Micro M2 Memory Card w/Memory Stick PRO Duo Memory Card Adapter

1 Answer

My phone, SE W995 can read the files in my memory card. But my computer cannot read anything at all in the SanDisk M2 8GB card after having viruses in it. Before the viruses existed, my computer had no problem reading the files. When most/all of the viruses are cleared/deleted, the problem starts... The question is, am I still able to read and transfer files in the memory card from the computer in a way? If I were to format it, is there a way to backup all the current files somewhere using special devices? Please help, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Using your phone, see if there is a file named something like "ignore my files .xyz" or similar, if so, try to delete that file and try again

Hi,
First: better use kasperaskey anti virus.
If your desktop pc or laptop has antivirus,
have your pc scan your fon memory through bluetooth, or usb cable

OR:
If you have Virus On mobile
1 - remove memory card.
2 - dial *#7780# or *#7073*
3 - It format your Phone
4 - Format memory card.
and enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

OR

Sounds like a defective card. Some phones only take up to 2 gigs, and will not format anything larger. Try the card on another phone or computer.

Transferring music files to microSD card

It says on the manual this this phone accepts microSD™
memory cards up to 2 GB (depending on memory
card manufacturer and type). Check with your phone manufacturer if there are known issues with a particular memory card brand.

Also, try connecting the memory card to your computer via memory card reader and see if the card will be detected. That way, you can check whether the card is working or not. Save the music files from the PC to the memory card, then see if the music files will appear when you insert the card to your phone.

If the card is brand new, try to have the phone to format it, or use the PC to format it at FAT, not FAT32 or any other file system.
