Hi, I have a Univa E600 oven in my home which had sadly had all it's settings rubbed off before I moved in (it's old). Is there anywhere I can see just a picture of it so that I can try to make mine usable with a permanent marker or similar? Thanks so much! Karen

Hi there. I do not know if you still have your Univa E600 oven. I have seen your problem and have the same one. Did you find a solution in the end? I also basically just need to know where I can mark the temperatures on the face of the oven. Did you manage to find a photo or something. I have also tried to google my problem with no success whatsoever. Can you pls contact me via email: [email protected]. I will appreciate your reply. Thank you. Marietjie

SOURCE: How to set the time, and can i download a usermanual anywhere? Thanks

Touch the clock pad. Enter in the correct time of day by touching the numbers in sequence. Touch the clock pad again...should set.

I have not seen a manual on-line for your model...ut htere are many others...perhaps browsing thru a few might help you. If not...try going into a store and looking for that model...the management might copy if for you...I would. :-)

My NEFF combination oven/microwave there error E1 15 today. It's just over 12 years old. Any idea what it could be please? Do I need to be worried?

Unfortunately that error is not listed anywhere.

As it is also a microwave oven, it need to be fixed professionally.

Model #

Make and model will usually be on a label plate on the back of the unit.
With the age of the unit and unlikely availability of spares you may be better to look for a new unit. Cheers, Dan

Chipping/peeling rusting paint in interior under carousel

Hi,

Scratches and bare spots are fairly common, but should be addressed as soon as they arise so the corrosion will not spread and arcing does not occur.

Unplug the power cord and remove the turntable and the support that is under the turntable. Clean the surface of the support wheels or any other part that rubs on the oven cavity.

Take some mild sanding cloth or scotchbright and clean the bare and rusted areas in the microwave. Use appliance touch up paint to re-coat the surface. You can find the touch up at most anywhere that sells appliances, it comes in a plastic bottle similar in appearance to fingernail polish, yes it does have a brush inside.

Let it dry per the instructions on the bottle or 24 hours if not specified.

I have a Kenmore model 665.68611891 micro. The door pops open

Per se there is no real adjustment, but the linkage that holds the two nylon hooks on the door in may need to be lubricated with some lithium grease made for nylon or neoprene parts. The sliding neoprene part that holds the hooks in place is not sliding all the way down into position. That part once you take the cover off is right up against the right front hand side of your microwave exactly inline with the two hooks and next to the control panel assembly. Take the cover off and manually opening and closing the door you will see how that part moves up and down to release and secure the door in place. You will be able to see where to apply the lubricant which should be anywhere two or more nylon or neoprene parts rub against one another. Let me know how it goes or if you need more guidance.
