Question about LG LRFC25750 Refrigerator French Door

1 Answer

Outside of fridge condensation; hissing boiling noise

LG French door; bottom freezer.
Extreme condensation on top of outside; NOT inside ceiling. Surrounding cabinets are soaked with water condensation.
BTW, the fridge surrounding wood cabinets are built to LG specifications regarding venting room.
Hissing boiling noise.
No problems inside.
Room temp is about 65-75 degrees farenheit
Kitchen floor damp (grout between tiles wet).
I can't really define where the noise is coming from, but it appears to be under or behind the fridge--sounds bounce and echo.

Condensate water is leaking from air intake between the fridge ceiling and freezer floor on the inside of the fridge.

Water is intermttently running out the bottom of our french door fridge

Check the door gaskets. If they are leaky, humid air from outside gets in and the moisture condenses inside at a high rate. This could cause the condensate pan to overflow.

My lg fridge lrbn20514bk the thermastat is not working on the top control but for freezer is reading 567

This fridge LRBN20514BK with bottom freezer is a piece of junk. Just had the relay on compressor replaced and now the thermostat isn\'t working. Temperature on fridge reads nothing and freezer temperature reading 5,6,7. Then the freezer coils freeze up and no air blowing to the fridge. Ready to take this POS outside and blow it up. Only 7 years old and never ending issues. I will never buy LG again. EVER! LNG - Life is not good! HELP.....so what needs replacing? Thermostat? And of course I have to have repair man come in due to LG not selling parts to customers. Again I call BS

Water build up on inside of fridge door of ge french door fridge

humid air in the house. any time you open the fridge, house air is sucked in. when you close it, the fridge cools the air and moisture from the warm air condenses on any cold surface. also check to see if there is a gap in the seal.

Possible that your door gasket is not sealing very well and therefore condensation forms in this area?

Thermador Freedom T361T70NNP - French Doors - Condensation

I have the same problem, and thermador stated there was a recall on the hinges. They are replacing the hinges to a newer stronger hinge that will pull the refrigerator doors in tighter. It took three different service companies to find the answer to this problem because I was told Thermador does not want anyone to know about this issue they have.

Fridge Condensation

Check the seal of the rubber gasket, if there are improper seal of the magnet, pour hot water along it to soften the rubber. (be careful when handling hot water). When the rubber is soften, try to stretch it a little by pulling it. close the door and the magnet will keep the seal in place.
