Probably needs a recharge... should be able to get the kits at a hardware store..... unless it was. Blowing cool when you started it and then it quit a few hours later... if that is the case place it in the bath tub and let the ice from moisture build up ( around the cooling coils high humidity will cause water to form freeze and layer up until it renders the ac useless until completely thawed... takes about 2 hrs... lots of water may run out as it thaws, that is why I suggested the tub... ps. This will happen to every ac and is not a big deal just a pain... and no don't use a hair dryer on it or warm water unless you don't like your ac... just time.

Press the power on/off to swtich off the S60 phone. Do not let go the three keys until you see the "formatting" screen displayed

Wait a few minutes until the format is complete. Your S60 will now be at its original factory settings

Before you format your phone, make sure you back up all your ringtones, SMS and picture messages and most importantly yout contacts. You can use the Nokia PC Suite to do this.

Press Red key, select disconnect.

Once you've done this, key in *#7370# *#7780# . It will immediately prompt you to restart your phone.

Select 'Yes' and the phone will restart after formatting. It takes about 2 to 3 minutes to complete the process. Also ensure that your phone is well charged before you format.

Now restore all your ringtones, messages and contacts and you once again have a fresh OS.

Corroded positive battery terminal. Clean both the terminal and the battery post and tighten clamp bolt. Don't just tighten bolts. There's a layer of corrosion that conducts when cold/damp and gets warm during starting and charging, dries out, and then won't conduct.

What do you mean? In the fuel line? In the manifold? In the tank? In the engine/cylinders? Do you want to measure A/F mixture? I am guessing you are asking because your car wont start. I am also guessing it cranks and sputters to try to fire, but never catches and runs. Your 85 VW has three common things I'd check first. 1. The O2 sensor wires crack and the sensor quits working sending the car into limp home mode. 2. the cold start injector at the end of the plenum/intake is a 5th injector that richens the starting mixture until the car warms up... it can fail and the car will run like **** until it warms up and runs on the 4 normal injectors. 3. Before the intake plenum, the can shaped thingy with the metal flap/disc you may have tried jamming a screw driver in or pushing open with your finger is a metal flap that controls and senses incoming air and regulates the idle mixture. It has a few position sensors. Don't poke at this part or you will muck up some parameters that are difficult to re-align. If this is it, take the car to a VW mechanic. That little bugger is a real pain.

Are you even sure it was the fuel pump to begin with?
All electric fuel pumps shut off after the key is turned on in just a few seconds.It will only run as long as the car is running. So it makes me think that the fuel pump was ok to begin with. You probably need to change the ignition module. Its the flat thing that the wires plug into on the side of distributor. Let me know what happens

you could have a split vaccume line goin to the actuater switch that operats the 4 wheel drive under neath the battery box.

sounds like you just have a loose alternator belt and since the system takes longer the light s tay oon until the alternator starts charging the battery by then the engine is already warnmed uyp
