yes it works, thankx. you first just have to turnoff bluetooth on cell phone (any cell phone in the range) and then start device discovery from laptop and meanwhile keep the "call button" on headset pressed for a couple of seconds -- boom, the laptop discovered headset. That's how it worked for me atleast :)

I think you need to "unpair" the headset from the phone. Try turning off the bluetooth head set, and then deleting the headset from the list bluetooth devices on your cellphone. Then turn the head set back on, and once it discovers that it cannot connect to the cellphone, it will become "discoverable" again.
