Hello there!
There is no special steps, but, "beware" logical steps is better,
1) unscrew back screen bolts,
2) carefully, detach handlers for screen
3) disconect the video converter 'CAREFULLY" and replace.
that it!

Presario f700 turns on and off, on and off. Will not stay on. Monitor blank screen.

Firstly let me say that some warrenties will be void if you open the equipment up, so be careful if it is in warrenty then go through them first.
With no beep codes to diagnose from, I'd say everything points to a motherboard issue. But before we go with that as the issue you must ensure its not a memory or hard drive issue.
First you must always make sure its off with the battery out before you touch any components such as memory or hard drives.
Take all the memory out of the laptop (under one of the plastic covers on the bottom) and then try turning it on, if you get beeps now then you know it has faulty memory. If you have more than one stick of memory then try with one then the other and in different slots.
Also try booting without the hard drive in, see what happens then.
Finally if after all this you realise it is a motherboard issue then you'll need specialist help to fix it. Use a company that charges fairly (should be around £55+vat for a simple motherboard issue) and also ensure they operate on a no-fix no-fee and give you 3 months warranty.
If you don't want to carry out these steps then use a reputable technician, like us at MCSLondon:), and they should be able to sort it our for you fairly.

Cracked screen trying to connect to monitor

Usually on a laptop if you press the Fn key and F8 it will switch between screen and external monitors, some laptops use diffrnt keys, but they usually have blue pictures on the keys to show you.

Wireless wifi to my presario f700 pc not working,

Here is the problem, the Nvidia Chipset needs to be reflowed. Now if you have the right tools this an easy job, simply look up the reflow temp range and do it. I used a hot air SMD rig wrapped the board in aluminum foil several times, cut out the hole for the Chipset and slowly heated it up I used a digital thermometer and watched the temp range, at 300 F I turned it down and began to cool it. When completed I let it sit until cool. I pulled the thermal pad and replaced it with a penny. (I cleaned the penny, heatsink, and chipset, and lightly applied artic silver to both sides of the penny, and the onto the processor and put it all back together. When I booted the system recognized the wireless and has been working for about 6 hours now, I have moved it around held it under the case and all seems well. If its between the bin and trying it yourself, try it. a cheap heat gun can be had for as little as $9.

I have a Compaq Presario F700 SN # CNF7350HNH I got it for Christmas and I have a problem with the screen staying blank when I turn it on. After a while of turning it off and back on a few times it comes...

Have you tried it on a different monitor? But it sounds more like the computer is hanging in POST which points to hardware issues either CPU motherboard or RAM. And check to make sure the light on the back of your power supply (where you plug the power) isn't blinking.

Compaq presario f700 can't locate netgear router

Make sure the WiFi is activated, and that the wireless is not disabled.

When you go into network, is the wireless network there?

If this does not help, write back and we will go from there.

I have broken the screen on my Compaq Presario c700 how do I go about fixing it?

ok..well..you'll need a new screen. it's not that tough to change, but you'll need to be really careful when you remove the front bezel, as those can crack easily

go to www.hp.com and access the accessories or warranty repair area, and you'll find some useful information.

Hey i have a compaq presairo m2000 and my screen cracked and my freind has a 15" lcd screen an the model is a LTN150XB-LO3 MODEL WOULD THIS SCREEN FIT MY LAPTOP M2000 PRESARIO

Hi,
i,d say no. This model of screen is for gateway MS20S-MS325X-M520.
Or Some Models Of:- Toshiba-Fujitsu-Siemens-Dell.
If you think about attempting the swap, check the cable connectors. and wiring. also ensure the inverter boards are the same or equivalent. if the panel is not identical or a suitable manufactured replacement. you may damage your computers motherboard.
