No communication between computer and laptop

The other day I had a paper jam and later tried to print but the printer would not acknowledge the print job. I did the press the ok and cancel button as I plug the printer up and that did the test sheet and everything on that end a worked. Tried to print the page and no response.

I don't know which Op system you have, but you will need to look in your printers folder or on control panel printers and faxes and click on your printer>then cancel all documents. You may need to do a simple reset which is to uplug the printer from the power source, open the door where you clear paper jams and give the paper roller a gentle push forward until it clicks. If neither of these options helps you, you may need to reinstall the printer drivers.

The printer doesn't print when you tell it to from the computer. When you mess with the buttons, then it will sometimes print a day later.

Its not a net work printer, they how you are connected this printer for all computers & laptops?. It might be connected to one system from there its shared..right. In this situation if any computer fired print command it has to reach the local computer where printer connected. If the local computer shut down, printer unable to print due to no print command.. or else if any net work related issue with in your systems you wont get prints.. Find out were you are stuck. If printer is printing well from the local system you cannot suspect the printer. Just you start from local system, then check in all systems. Pl get back to us for further of luck..
