Question about HP iPAQ hw6515 Pocket PC

Undeletable files cluttering memory

In the past few days I have ended up with very little memory available. Just after starting up, with no applications launched I have 29MB of storage memory in use. Usually that used to be about 11 to 15MB.
I notice that there are 7 files whose name all begin with "MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft" each one 2.71MB in size.
I've had this happen before and I would just delete them and everything would be fine.
However this time I am finding it impossible to delete them. Each time I try it tells me that 'There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use'

Something else possibly related is that lately on various occasions people have told me that they sent me text messages and even received the delivery confirmation report but I would not find the message.

Doesn't seem to be the case last time I installed or removed anything was almost a year ago.
Also, I had noticed this problem even when it was almost brand new and before I installed anything. I mean I used to see those same files but the difference was that I could delete them.
I think it is Outlook that is creating them. The full names are:
MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Broadcast Message SMS Protocol (Receive Only)
MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Notification SMS Protocol (Receive Only)
MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Raw SMS Protocol (Receive Only)
MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Status Message SMS Protocol (Receive Only)
    MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Text SMS Protocol
    MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft WCMP SMS Protocol
    MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft WDP SMS Protocol

If i restart the PDA the timestamp on all these files will be updated to that time, suggesting that the files are created or updated by some process running during the startup.

May be u installed any software and deleted it without using proper uninstalling process, b'coz some files share the main software files.or there can be a possibility of virus.
if u find which software u deleted abnormally, install it and uninstall it properly.

How to remove virus from phone memory

Hi there,
Have a blessed day. My name is dingra. There are a few things you can do to attempt to remove the virus from a cellphone.
1.Format the memory card in your cell phone. It may actually be the memory card, not the phone itself, that is infected with the undeletable virus. On most phones, you can format the memory card directly from the phone by going to the "Options," "Settings" or "Tools" portion of the main menu screen on your cell phone. Consult the manual that came with your phone to learn exactly how to format the memory card in your cell phone. You can also find these user manuals directly on the manufacturer's website.
2.Buy a new memory card for your cell phone. The undeletable virus may have damaged your memory card beyond repair. If formatting the memory card didn't fix the problem, getting a brand new memory card may fix your problem. These memory cards are relatively inexpensive and can be purchased at just about any store that sells cell phones.
3.Format your entire cell phone. If getting a brand new memory card hasn't fixed your phone, formatting your cell phone should remove the virus and every other file on the phone. Before you attempt to format your cell phone, remove your memory card. Read the manual for your specific cell phone, as the instructions for formatting cell phones vary based upon the manufacturer of the phone. fir

Hope it helps.
Thank you for using fixya.

New right slot DSTT card--- card now has corrupted files.

go to www.ndstt.com and download firmware version number 17

with regards to your micro sd card I would format that first of all. ( I have found in the past that if your adding/deleting games regularly then it starts doing strange things. I always defrag the card when doing this.

with the firmware download you should have 3 files. I would created another folder called GAMES. Just tidys it up a bit.

with regards to some of the games being in Chinese. Only download games with (e) or (us) on them that way your less likely to get a foreign language.

Download > unzip > edit the name of the game leaving the .nds at the end. > copy and paste into the GAMES folder.

This should sort you out.

Cheers

P.s When this sorts you out please leave a Thumbs up Thanks
