Question about Frigidaire FEX831CS Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer
I think my daughter overloaded the washer. The water solenoids open and water flows in but nothingelse works. No spin, no draining, no noise of switching units, no noise of belts sliping or flapping around, no nothing so I suspect the timer switch but need professional opinion.
It is possible that the belt has come off or the lid latch is no functioning.
First unplug the machine then remove the two screws from the front lower edge of the washer.
The front panel will lift up towards you at a 45 degree angle. The latches will release than the entire front panel can be place out of the way.
The lid latch can be seen on the underside of the top panel to the right, check that the wires are not loose.
You will see a large motor mounted upright near the base this should have the belt around the pulley to the bottom of the tub assembly. Check for obvious damage
Outside of this you will need a repairman for help.
