Question about Evenflo Jenny Lind Crib

1 Answer

Evenflo jenny lind crib

HI-

I'm trying to take my crib down. I thought it just folded up once you got mattress and metal support out. But it seems like i'm forcing it and it might ruin something. Any ideas? I can't remember how it was when I put it together.

Thanks!! Nicki

I have the jenny lind crib. had borrowed it out and was returned without the spring. is there a way I can just get the spring?

Yes. Most hardware stores have a set of bright yellow boxes that are
specialty screws, bolts etc. Ask them if they have the crib replacement parts
one. If not, head to a Lowes. I think they have ones that will do. The springs just keept
the dropside from slamming down.
Now if by "Spring" you mean the mattress support, you have a lost cause.
Each crib has a specific mattress support and unless you find one at a DAV or
salvation army thrift store, I'm afraid there is no other inexpensive answer.
If Evenflo has them, they will cost dearly. Feel free to call Evenflo at:

I have an evenflo Jenny Lind crib, Model #012616, how do I go about getting the repair kit referred to in the recall?

Call (800) 356-2229.
Locate the model # and mfg date on hand.
These can be found once you remove the mattress on the headboard label

Thank you to the Grandma J who pointed out the Jenny Lind is a style, not a company! I have two different Jenny Lind cribs and I found the phone numbers for parts right on the crib, on the mattress support for both cribs, with each company. Just remove the mattress and your information should be there!!!
