Cant clear nightshot plus mode

in owners manual it said to slide nightshot mode to off but i do not have that sliding switch. when i go into menu and switch nightshot to off it says its off but it is not and the indicator symbol is still showing on lcd screen

- You are awesome "WelcomeJee"!I can't believe I missed that function switch!!! I looked all over that camara and read the whole dang owners manual!!! Me and my husband! When I read your comment I was like what? You've got to be kidding!!! I got my camara out and looked at it and couldn't believe my eyes!!! My kids are being awarded at our town celebration today and now I can capture it on video for them!!!
