Question about Computers & Internet
I have a Dell Dimension E520. I am not able to copy to a blank CD in "CD Drive D." I hightlight a document, then I click "Copy to", then "CD Drive D," then "copy." What comes up next is a dialog box that says, "D:/is not accessible, incorrect function."
What's my problem?
Incidently, I am able to copy onto the "stick" that I plug into a USB port.

It's possible that the CD burning service isn't running on your computer.
Click Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Services
Scroll down in the list to "IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service" and double click on it. Make sure it is set to Automatic. If it isn't currently running, click "Start."
Also, if you right-click on the CD drive in My Computer, and select properties, is there a Recording tab there? If there is, click on the tab and make sure that "Enable CD Recording" is checked. If the Recording tab is NOT there, please let me know.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
