Question about Sony Audio Players & Recorders
I spent £100 to have my cd player fixed to stop jumping. they changed the laser carrier and it was o.k for about six weeks. its doing it again. i clean the heads reg. its a stack system about 8 years old by sony but cost alot so want to repair it. Please help
Try cleaning and re-lubricating the sled. i've done this with umpteen sony mechanisms and never had anymore problems afterwards. over time the oil/grease becomes hardened and contaminated thus not being able to move freely. shaun.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
