Guitar hero does not work, only flashing control panel but not continue to play

Is this a for a Nintiendo Wii? If so you may need to sync your guitar with the Wii. There is a red
button in the front panel on your Wii and the guitar should have a red sync button. Depress the
red button on the Wii first then depress the button on your guitar. after a few seconds the lights
on your guitar should stop blinking and the guitar should be assigned to controller 1 through 4
once this happns the guitar should start working.

If the guitar is wireless you may need to do the same for other consoles. The guitar may need
to sync with the wireless interface that plugs into the console. The same method applies as
above but the sync button should be on the wirless plug for the controller that plugs into the
console.

Hello, My Guitar hero guitar seems to be giving me trouble, the "Start power button / Select" will flash when i turn the guitar on but it wont do anything else this *** adding up to a...

Could be that your batteries are dead.
When the batteries are too low to operate the guitar, the lights on either the PS3 or XBOX 360 versions will simply blink a few times then disconnect and shut down.
Replace the batteries with freshly charged AA's or brand new Alkalines.
Hope this helped

When my son tries to play his guitar all the lights are flashing on it and we cant figure out how to get it working..

The flashing lights on the controller mean the guitar is not connecting to the wireless usb dongle connected to the PS3.

1. Verify that the wireless box is plugged in firmly to the usb port on the front of the PS3.

2. If that doesn't work, look on the wireless usb dongle for the guitar hero guitar controller. (It should be a black box with the guitar hero logo on it. You will find a small push button on the dongle. (Make sure your PS3 is turned on, though your guitar hero game does not have to be open. It may be a good idea to have the game running, so you can test your guitar or make sure it is really working). Press and hold the button on the wireless usb dongle for a few seconds. Five seconds should be enough. Doing this attempts to re-connect the dongle and the controller. You will know when the connection is good when the red lights on the controller go steady, as well as the LED on the small button you pressed on the wireless usb dongle. If either lights continue to blink, there is a connection problem still.

3. Try changing the batteries in the guitar controller. Weak batteries tend to cause connection issues.

4. Test the wireless usb dongle and controller with another PS3. This will rule out an issue with your PS3 system.

5. If the problem still occurs on another PS3, the wireless dongle may have gone bad. (This does happen rarely.) Replacements are cheap to find on ebay

How can I fix my PS3 for free? It won't power on completely and the red light just blinks

If ur ps3 console wont start up....then the things to check are>>> 1.check ur power cable 2.check whether u have inserted the disc properly and precisely. 3.check the insertion of memory card... 4.check the video port.......
checking your console and making sure those fans are not blocked off. If you notice a lot of dust on the console, clean it off right away. Once you fix the blinking red light of your ps3 and your console is working again, you will want to keep the vents clean......

find the hard drive on the side of your console and remove it. Wait a few seconds and replace it. In some cases this may fix PS3 red light. If you still see the blinking red light, there is a chance you have more substantial damage inside your unit.

Wont turn on has blinking red light wont stayed powered

Hello, I'm sorry to say this but the blinking red light is = the light of Doom. Your PS3 is dead. This is somewhat like the XBOX Red ring of death.Yellow lights and blinking red lights indicates general hardware failure on ps3. If your ps3 is still under warranty call Sony and they will send you a new or refurbshed one. Your ps3 is one in a billion (according to Sony). North America: 1-800-345-SONY (7669) United Kingdom: 08705 998877
Now you could try doing a few things (hey it's worth a try!)
1. Turn off the switch in the back and wait a few minutes. Turn it back on and try it again. If that doesn't work it may be dead.
2. You could try this article, if you choose to, it's a long shot but might work for you in your case. http://ps3.qj.net/Possible-PS3-flashing-red-light-fix-from-MXACE/pg/49/aid/75721

My guitar controller doesn't work

One possiblity could be that the battorys are dieing or are dead. If thats not it then something internal is going out, if i were you i would either open the guitar up and check whats going on, or bring it to Gamestop and ask then to fix it for you!
