Who is your ISP? If it's Comcast try change your out going port to 587. They are disabling the default port (25) and their idea of notifying people is to post it on their web site. They want you to use web mail :-)

Yes, the first step is to tell us who your internet service provider is. Then we need to check your smtp server settings. This is located under TOOLS, ACCOUNTS, MAIL, PROPERTIES, SERVERS. This is assuming you are using outlook express for your email.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

In Win Vista Outlook is reconfigured to WIndows Live mail, so the only solution is to use this version , but you can transfer your account settings from earlier computer with outlook installed... there is a link how to do that, but it leads to another site then another etc.

Siplest explanation is : from outlook_> export everything to a file, and then tranfer it to windows live by "import"

Unable to reinstall DVD backups after HP SYSTEM RECOVERY failed

Code "purple" means you and your computer are done. It is an unrecoverable error that means you need a new system. However, I have found a couple of postings that claim to know a fix. I can not verify these methods, I do not own a HP or other type of prefab PC (custom is the only way to go). Anyway, here are the links, good luck.

Usually if the send mail button is disabled it is because you have not configured an e-mail account into Windows Mail. Follow the steps below to setup your e-mail account:
