Hi this is just an internet surfer but the hole with no wires is not supposed to have any wires. you may need professional help to install the new heating element but that may not be to hard. it may just be two seperate connectors. if you need further advice send an email with a title to scott_mcewan_94@yahoo.com.au

follow this test and fix it. God bless you
The oven control board has a set of relays that turn on and off power to the bake and broil circuits according to the customer settings and sensor input. If the oven won't heat the problem is usually with the heating components. However, if the oven control board is bad, it might not send voltage to the heating components. To determine why the oven won't heat, first test the simpler components in the circuit. The oven control board can't be tested easily and will have to be replaced if it is defective.

My Simpson Esprit oven is not supplying power to the heating element. The fan and light run normally but no heat. Do these ovens have an internal fuse for the element? I checked the element for continuity...

Check to make sure that there is 120 volts from each oven wire seperately. Together they should be putting 240 volts to the oven unit. Do you have a fuse box instead of breakers in your home? It could be that one of the two fuses is bad. The oven needs two legs of 120 volts to heat up. Usually there is no internal fuse on a stove, just on clothes dryers.

P7 bottom element

Open the door and look for a slim, plate in the op right corner of the trim that the door would touch, if it were closed. It should be held on with 2 screws and have the model and serial numbers along with voltage. The element can be removed with a socket wrench (1/4 size), and costs about $45 delivered from pcappliancerepair.com . You'll need to unscrew the screws on the inside, back wall and then pull the element out about 2 inches, so that you can unscrew the connectors.

I like you purchased one of these thinking you can trust the name simpson(pope) but after putting on a fry pan with sum saucages in and having a major fire in my kitchen, I through the heap of junk out and bought a *** oven (current technologie) howerver to answer your question you have pulled the elements and trays out to kleen them (that seems normal) but you need to make sure the element terminals are clean and so are the spring clip things they fit into, use a peice of emery cloth (not wet & dry) this should fix it

alternativly not buy this junk again and get a proper stove
