Hi this is just an internet surfer but the hole with no wires is not supposed to have any wires. you may need professional help to install the new heating element but that may not be to hard. it may just be two seperate connectors. if you need further advice send an email with a title to scott_mcewan_94@yahoo.com.au

How do i replace and where is the heating element in a simpson eziset 52b890 dishwasher

Take off the front bottom panel and then the next cover plate inside that one. You will have to cut one of the plastic extensions to a foot to do that if you cannot take the dishwasher out otherwise pull it out and turn it on its side. The heater looks like this

Check the heater element by disconnecting the leads to it and test with a multimeter whether you have an open circuit. My water was not heating but the heater element was OK I had to replace the control panel for $175 AU as that was the problem as the relay to the heater element was not working.

Simpson eziset 800 clothes tangle when washing

If you can use a lollipop stick to operate the lid switch while you leave the lid open, you will be able to observe if the agitator is going smoothly back and forth EVENLY or not. If it is tending to turn just one way....this will tangle the clothing like mad!
If this is the problem it could be the switching module or capacitor that needs replacing.

I have a 3U600W oven purchased 13/07/04 in the last 5months i have had to replace small element, grill element and now the large element. Is this normal for such a young oven with little use?? Im not happy...

I'm afraid this is quite normal- I have been repairing Simpson ovens for a long time, and unfortunately quality is not what it used to be (goes for most manufacturers-not just Simpson!!). Elements are not a moving part and don't "wear out" as such, how long they last depends on manufacturing quality and a bit of luck. An element in your oven is basically the same as a light bulb in your house- some last for a long time, others seem to never need changing. Look out- the element controller will need changing next- mark my words!!

Oven element replacement- Simpson eziset electric

hiya
firstly make sure the power is isolated before removing any panels.
sometimes the element will just screw out from the inside of the oven and should pull through into the oven compartment with the wires attached, simply remove the wires, replace the element and refit any panels.

hope this helps

please dnt forget to rate the helpfulness of this reply thanks kj

Simpson 2001 series upright electric stove oven does not get hot only gets warm

It could be the oven element (behind the cover plate in the back of the oven), or the fan not blowing the heat into the oven.
