SOURCE: clutch pedal not returning to position
Under the dash look to see if there is a spring attached to the petal or maybe under the hood. Or you might have something getting in the was of the petal arm. Good Luck and PEACE

If hydraulic actuated mechanism, loss of fluid, defective master cylinder or slave cylinder at the clutch. Missing pin or other part between slave cylinder and clutch arm. Loose or broken slave cylinder mounting. Missing pin or broken part between pedal and master cylinder. If mechanical linkage, look for broken components or missing pins at moving joints. If you tried to shift into gear with engine running, you may have damaged the transmission gears.

Hi mate.
Is the cable broken. If it is, it will need replacing.
Is the rachet at the top of the pedal worn or broken. If so It will need replacing.

SOURCE: clutch pedal goes to floor cant get it into gear.
if i remember right, these are hydraulic systems. look under the hood and there should be a seperate resevoir. using brake fluid. look for leaks down where its mounted and inside the truck also, like behind the pedals and under the carpet. there is also the slave cylinder which actuates the clutch fork. pull the boot back and if fluid comes out, replace it. it is a good idea to replace both but do as your pocket book allows in this case. there should be a bleeder on the slave allowing you to bleed it there. good luck. nothing hard about changing these fortunately. happy holidays
