My problem with my Acer aspire 4715Z is that i first installed W7 OS and unfortunately being Genuine has already expired, so i decided to by a new one which is W7 Ultimate. now same as what i did i run the W7 ultimate and was successfully run. now my problem is when i restarted my laptop it gives me option that i have to select 2 W7, the old one and the new one. PS: how to delete the old W7 and just start it with the new one please help me with this... kindly Email it to me the problem solution to [email protected] Thank you

You need to install the driver software for the wireless card.

If it's a laptop, there is no default password. BIOS passwords are used to prevent access to someone's data when their laptop is stolen. Wouldn't make much sense to have a generic default password available to the general public, now would it?
Why can't you do a reinstall while Windows? Just insert the CD while Windows is running and you should get a repair/upgrade/new install option.
As a last resort, install a version of Linux on a spare harddrive and install it into the laptop. Then run Windows upgrade disk.

the cam must show up in device manager ! no errors. or it will be dead
and guess what 1 more hint, the cam runs off usb (inside)
so if the USB ports are dead so be the cam for the same reason
wrong drivers. and again only w7 acer driver work from acer.com
not told at al what OS came with PC new (it was w7) but ive no idea at all history of any PC, and changes to the OS
acer.com shows weak support on 2009 PC, sorry that is what i see there,

click on device manager and look for errors
and update all Usb and CAM seen there.
this is the w7 microsoft PnP way, that can work. and is safe
no other ways are safe, ever. (googling will get you infected fast)

I apologize, You may try going to the offical manufactor of your audio. From what it looks like when I visited your laptop's manufactors website http://www.acerpanam.com/flex/acer/bin/acer.html#app=2766&9e7c-selectedIndex=0&3386-selectedIndex=2&bca4-selectedIndex=1&bf37-selectedIndex=1&4f90-selectedIndex=1 it shows that your laptop does not have a audio driver install for your specific laptop running Windows XP. So I would please recommend you contact Acer over via phone the number for Acer is 1.800.816.2237. Is there anything else I can assist you with?

This is very common problem for the new computers, they can not be retro-fitted to XP for the drivers were not designed for XP, only vista.

I would strongly suggest putting the computer back to Vista, and then the hardware that was installed on that computer will work its best. Since Service Pack 1 has been released for Vista most of Vista's 1st problems have been solved.
