Question about Intel DG31PR Motherboard

Non Displaying any things for a 5 to 10 minutes in first instance startup

I have DG31PR Mother Borard and for a few days it worked fine and also working fine now. But what the problem is at first instance switching on it is not displaying any things for a few minutes i.e., 5 to 10 minutes after that it will display desktop. After this it will show every thing when i switch it on. What will be the problem

This may seem unusual but try unplugging power cord from the back of computer for 5 minutes then fit power cord and try again sometimes the bios get upset and has trouble finding hard drives etc.

if machine is older you might be better off getting a new machine. You could try ebay for used boards but that is a risk also.

Problem while installing Win XP Prof.

The prolem is with Windows Xp cd...
When i try to install through the Genuine Win XP cd then it works fine...
So use the original softwares....

DG31PR Problem with extender usb 2.0 in cascade

go into the control panal and looking in the following folders;
device manager, adding new hardware, network and sharing folder,
problems and report.

look trew the sections that apply
looking for any type of marks that should not be there
red, yellow, orange,
green mark okay
