my husband opened the freezer and it was thawing. I looked at the control panel and the freezer was at 21' and the top section was at 58'. Why? I couldn't reset it.

My husband turned off the power and the freezer reset when the power was turned on. I put the top on turbo cool. It doesn't sound like the fan is on. It isn't cold. I'll wait and see.

Apparently, one can't put something tall in front of the ventilation system as it blocks the cold air from coming in. I moved the grapefruit juice container away from the vents and set the thermostat on turbo and this morning it was very cool and working just fine. Sometimes a little common sense goes a long way. Thanks for the shoulder to lean on. Sherrill
