No power just a clicing sound

This clicking sound is very common when you have a defective ballast. It would be best if you replace it, this way your problem will be solved and you'll have an image again

No sound

The box to the right of the screen says " Ask a question"
" Let our Experts
solve your problem for free"
I did this and was told that I would get an answer in my email within 24 hrs.
I waited and all I received were two emails asking if I solved my problem.
Let me reword my question.
Product : Mitsubishi Projection TV
Model : VS-410RS
Problem : NO SOUND even though I have a picture. Sound just quit in the middle of a movie.
I never had the sound go out before and it wasn't giving me any problems prior to it going out, not any indication of it what so ever.
Question : What would of caused the sound to abruptly quit and what can be done to fix this problem?
I am on a very small income and I can't afford to have it fixed in a repair center and I don't have a car to get it to one anyway so if you can give me any info that could help me to get the sound to return, I would be so grateful. I would be so appreciative of your helping me.
I have my fingers crossed in hopes of a solution.
Thank you so much and have a great day.

No picture or sound

From the symptoms you describe, it seems the high voltage flyback autotransformer has failed along with the horizontal amplifier (they are slaved to each other). The sound comes from the flyback unit.

Well, the only way to solve this is to get a technician take a look at the set, I'm afraid. Repairs could cost upto $100 or more, depending upon the number of components that need to be replaced,

Hope that helps!

I have a Phillips pfl5522 32 inch flat screen tv, which i bought 2 months ago. My problem is with the sound. I keep getting a buzzing sound through the tv, when certain sounds are stressed. I hope this...

It looks like a defective component on the mainboard. I guess the TV would still be under warranty. Best bet is to take it back to the store and get it replaced, because if you open up the TV, you may void the manufacturer's warranty.
Hope that helps!

Viewsonic N3251W tv, sound cuts off. Changing channel brings it back.

I don't know if this was really a fix but I haven't seen the problem since I switched the sound mode from "user" to "soft" in the menu under the sound button on the remote. I'm not incline to go looking to see if I can recreate the problem under "user". Unless it reapears, I consider my problem solved.
