Blank screen and no sound, can occur because of damage to the power supply circuit in the PSR-E423.
Circuit power supply is still working but the voltage is not sufficient. This is indicated by a lit LCD screen but does not appear any character, and the sound did not exist. It is a matter of hardwares, so it can not be reset by software.
Should be fixed to the experts.
Do you use the original adapter? Also check the voltage.
Maybe, it is not known why, a voltage adapter has been dropped.

Try a reset before going to assistance:
There are two ways to reset the DM10:
To fully restore the module to original factory settings, hold the EXIT and STORE buttons while powering on the module.
To reset only the kits, sequences, or trigger settings:

1. Press UTILITY to enter the main Utility Menu.
2. Press SYS (F4) to access the Accompaniment Settings.
3. Press INIT (F2) to access the reinitialization page.
4. Use CURSOR UP/DOWN to move through the following menu items:
   • All Kits: All of the module's kits and their settings will return to factory default
   • All Sequences: All of the module's sequences and their settings will return to factory default
   • All Trigger Settings: All of the module's trigger settings will return to factory default
5. Highlight the option you would like to reset, then press EXEC (F4).
6. A window will appear asking you to confirm your choice. To confirm and reinitialize the selected settings, press YES (F1). To Cancel, press CANCEL (F2 or F2).

Sounds like a blown motherboard to me. It needs to go to the shop.

Hi, Provided your Korg works as normal, besides the display being blank and lit, I may have the answer. It sounds like the contacts connecting the display have somehow become dirty. This could have happened from something getting spilled on the display. To fix is easy enough if you have a little mechanical aptitude. unplug unit/take batteries out,and disassemble unit to gain access to the main circuit board where screen is located, the screen may be held in place with a tin casing either soldered to board or with prong set though the circuit board and twised on the reverse side to hold in place. After removing this there should be a little rubber strip between the screen and circuit board-this is the contact strip that you need to clean with rubbing alcohol. Clean the screen where the contact strip meets the screen. do the same on the circuit board, reassemble and you should be back in business. hey Mike, I just got 2 brand new minspot rgbws and they worked for 3 days and now tonight the same thing!

they power up and goto a white light and dont move. no display on led panel either...

did you find a fix?

Check if there is a contrast setting knob or function. Often the contrast setting gets clobbered and then the display will be blank... worst thing if it is internal setting and you can't see the screen to change it... In that case do a factory reset on the unit. Usually this is holding down multiple buttons when turning power on.

Check the power adapter. It sounds like it is the wrong unit or it has failed and is not producing the correct voltage.

Try the contrast control. My DGX505 suddenly had a blank blue screen, I found that mygrand daughter had been fiddling with knobs and switches and discovered one I hadn'y noticed. On the 505 ot is located on the rear panel right next to the USB port. A slight tweaking of the lnob and all was restored. Heart attack avoided. And I learned something from a 4-year old.
