Amana BX21TW defrost issue

How often is the defrost mode to kick on and how long is it suppose to last? Is there different settings to the defrost program?

Currently the defrost seems to kick on once every 4 days and stays in defrost mode for 2 to 3 days. During the defrost mode the freezer is more like a fridge the temp is usually around 32 degrees. The fridge portion stays a constant temp (or I should say with a few degree difference).

I have the same problem.

Suggest a new solution for this problem
