Generic problem for all Dryers

I have a SG1000 stack (by 2 users)

posted by carolmagi on Jul 25, 2008

I have a SG1000 stack unit that is having problems drying the clothes. The dryer rings "done" before the clothes are completely dry. The heat comes on, so the electronic pilot is working, as is the gas. We checked the vent for lint build up and had none. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Same problem here. The unit has been great and is at least 15 years old. Just wanted to make sure there was not an easy fix for getting a new one.
