I recently got my Toshiba Satellite A500-025 laptop home from being repaired by Toshiba ( a screen fix), and when I turned it on, the wireless switch would not work and the hot key (Fn+F8) did not work either. I have tried quite a few things, such as un-installing and re-installing the network adapters and those kinda things, nothing seems to work, any solutions?

I would call Toshiba about it. I think they may have left the antenna wires off of the wireless card. Of course, you can disassemble it yourself and see if that is the case, but if it's under warranty, it's on them!

I would contact Toshiba immediately and let them know that you experiencing that issue.

Depending on how they repaired your screen they could have accidentally damaged the motherboard or forgot to connect the wifi cables that run along side of the lcd back to the card.

Switch on wireless key on Toshiba Satellite M30,

Try downloading and reinstalling the drivers for the wireless network adapter. If you have the original disk it should have the driver if not you can download it from the Toshiba site.

I have toshiba satellite a105 i wanted to know if it have wireless internert or do i need a verizon wireless chip

The Toshiba A105 comes with a wireless card. On the bottom of the laptop there is a door toward the front middle and behind that door you can see a wireless card that has the black and white wires going to it.

There is also a on/off switch that enables the wireless card as well, its either on the left or right hand side of the laptop.

Just make sure the switch is turned on and go into the device manager and underneath where it says network adapters, you should see the wireless card listed in there.

Computer crashes when turn on Wireless switch

problem:sounds like polarity is switched on wireless card
Solution: remove cover plate on bottom and make sure black wire runs to Main and white wire runs to AUX
