i broke a piece of plastic off my furniture attachment and now it will not spray cleaner or suction. can i get a replacement and will it suction again?

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Yes, the best 2 places to get the part or to order the part is your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or to contact the Hover website or cust serv line @ the Hoover factory that I will list below, if they do not have the part in stock they can order it for you – make sure you hive them the brand name and model # and sometimes they ask for the serial #. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
