Question about HP PSC 1610 All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Copier
I upgraded my iMac to Leopard last night, and now I cannot print to my 1410. It was working fine prior to the upgrade. I have tried reinstalling the drivers from the Leopard CD, resetting the printer list, and re-adding the printer. It looks like it will print, can "see" the printer enough to tell me ink levels, but goes it "idle" before actually printing.
I cannot print any .pdf files since upgrading to Leopard. Regular files from Pages print just fine. Any application that handles .pdf files just crashes whenever you try to print from it (Preview, Acrobat Reader, Quicktime, etc.).
I have sent error reports to Apple, so maybe they will find the problem within Leopard.
I am using a printer over a wireless network with Bounjour as the intermediary. My printer is an HP 1610 all-in-one.
I believe I had a similar problem. Try this:
Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax > '+'
Select the Epson 1410 and then under Print Using go to Select a driver to use the Epson Styls Phot 1410 - Gutenprint v5.1.3
I hope it helps.
