This is my final cry: My mp3 sansa wont turn on, i made the mistake of dropping it a week ago and it wont turn on. Ive tried the reset the method(15-30secs) but it doesnt work...... at all. it wont turn...

You could try the Updater program and see if you can un-brick the chip. Go to the SanDisk site and download the Updater program, follow all instructions. That is the only thing that might work, as it may have broken an internal circuit.

Sansa clip 2 gig computer doesnt find

This is the method that will force Windows to recognize the Sansa: Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Put the device into recovery mode to see if it will connect that way. Recovery Mode - Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds) - Slide the hold switch into "hold" position. - Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer. If this works, you should reformat and re-install the firmware. Find it here; http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe If it doesnt work, try a different PC. If that doesnt work, try a new cable.
