Question about Krups Allegro FND112 Espresso Machine
Water doesn't flow through coffee but spurts clear and drips down side of basket. also water puddle emanating from beneath machine. seemed to work fine whe putting it through it's first rinse. it's putting the coffee in that fvck3d it up. the first coffee trial was done by a professional - someone who'd been a barista.
This is the manual :)

Most likely it starts the espresso but stops after a few second because the unit is not getting the water flow information or the unit is blocked. You will know that you have a blockage because not water will come out of the espresso filter but most likely you get some liquid during the 4-10 seconds it operates. My unit has the same problem and I fixed by getting a new flow meter. This unit is installed after the water tank and has wires (3) going to the the power module.

Mine had the same problem ... all the lights are on, grinding works fine, but no heat on the plate, and no dripping of water.
After a weekend on the workbench, I mastered this machine. The KM7005 has 2 x MicroTemp G4 thermal cutoff (TCO) fuses which interrupt the Live line, for overheat protection. Mine didn't overheat per se, but the TCO blew anyway. Not reset-able ... need to be replaced with a soldering iron. To date, I have helped 13 people on this site fix this exact problem.
I'll be happy to advise you to fix this, or fix it for you. Write me at KM7005@flightsystems.biz.
