whel maybe you hev a problem to conect to the ps3 network like whit xbox 360 you can be conecthed to the network but stil not get conected to xbox live i sugjest to chek teath everyfing is conected wher it shud be. hope thei help
try running a system update and make sure all internet connections are connected correctly and if the network has a password also double check that it was inputted correctly too
Check to make sure that your router is not preventing the ps3 to connect. Typically caused by a firewall. You can type in your ps3's ip address on the routers permission tab to allow access to the internet.
check your internet conection settings. power cycle your network equippment and restore the default settings on your ps3. dns errors dont have anything to do with your ps3. it's with your network equipment or how you have everything setup
