Squeals makes a high pitch noise when i plug in dvd player

Check to make sure the WIDEST blade of the AC power plug is actually the GROUND (as in "not HOT") in the new location!

It is the top of the dvd players "clutch" plastic wheel. There are gray rubber snubbers in a captured plastic wheel that disintegrates. Covered under warranty, but part number MKC 66030401 from electronics repair company such as Andrews Electronics at $19+sh. It is a very simple fix, remove cover,3 screws on back, lift off and 4 screws hold dvd on main frame. Carefully remove ears and lift off top of dvd, replace with new part. Good luck.

The squealing noise is from the belt tensioner. Replace the pulley only on the tensioner along with a new belt. The bearing in the pulley is causing the squeal. Sears will sell this in a kit. The top and the front panel of the dryer will have to be removed to replace these parts

You still didn't say which speakers are making the noise. If it's the Right and the video looks bad it's likely you have the RED Audio cable and the RED Video cable swapped in that 5-piece cable.

if the squealing is comming from the outside unit then you might need a new condensor fan motor

Unplug the board, don't put the side panel on and listen for the sound. Sometime a rolled up newspaper can be used as a stethescope and help determine the squeal location.

The high pitched squeal you refer to comes from a faulty component called a capacitor ... these store power in a circuit to compensate for AC or alternating current, thus allowing an appliance to operate continuously.

The component itself is relatively inexpensive, and would take around 20-40 minutes to isolate and replace, hence it would be relatively cheap to fix.

Having a repairman take a look and explaining the noise as above, would help narrow down the complaint.

The display is faint because of the lack of constant power getting to the display.
