I installed Kenwood DNX7160 in my truck, everytime I start the vehicle or hit a bump the "call interupt" screen appears and my music is stopped. How can I remedy this?

sounds like the phone interrupt button may be shorting out when you hit bumps. make sure you have no bare wires or nicks in the insulation of the wires.

I hit a bump and the radio shut off and the screen and face went black. there is still power to the radio though because the security light in the lower left is still blinking and i can still here the disc...

One of your power wires is loose. There should be two of them. One is constantly connected to +12 volts and one is connected to the accessory on your ignition system. If your clock resets after you hit the bump, it is your constant power that is loose. If your clock stays with the correct time, your accessory wire is loose.

You can Actually get a Single to Double RCA Splitter for this. I think that Wal-Mart Used to Carry them. If not, Any Stereo Install shop has these and will sell them to you. You Might Try Best Buy also. Their Car Audio Install Guys may have one to sell to you.

Ignore the above comment... SD cards and USB play fine on there (i have one).
Mine does the same, but leave it for 5-10 seconds after it says close and it loads it up!

Just ground you brake wire directly to the metal frame. It should work fine. Goodluck.
