Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Servise Pack 2 (e8503040) for PC
I have a way where you don't have to download anything. First of all, you might want to print this off so you can refer to it while you are messing around with the registry.
To get started, restart your computer, and right when it has text at the bottom like "Press F8 for startup menu" press F8 as fast as you can.
Now that you are in this menu, select system restore using the keyboard arrows and pressing enter/return.
This will take a little bit to load, but when it asks you to use system recovery, click on option "no" and proceed until you get an error message. On this error message, click on the details and scroll down until you see the link for a notepad document. Click on that, but don't read it. In stead, click on File, then on "Save as..."
Using this, go to C:\Windows\System32
and find cmd.exe, and copy and paste it into the same folder. YOU WANT TWO OF THEM
and find sticky keys (or some look-alike or sethc.exe) RENAME THIS TO ITS NAME BUT WITH THE NUMBER ONE AT THE END
then RENAME YOUR COPY of cmd.exe (like cmd--copy.exe) TO WHAT THE NAME OF STICKY-KEYS was
Then get out of there! Restart again, but normally or typically. Get to the login screen try to trigger sticky keys by pressing shift too many times. Voila! command prompt!
exploiting this common weakness, you type into the command prompt:
net user --((**to get all the people existing on the computer**))--
net user "*your username you desire to change password to*" *
AND THEN TRY YOUR NEW PASSWORD

Windows Password Unlocker is a good solution
1. Login to a computer that can link to Internet. Download Windows Password Unlocker 4.0 and decompress it on that PC. Note that: there is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to a CD.
2 Get out the newly created CD and insert it to the locked computer.
3 re-booted the locked computer and then followed the process of instructions. Just a few steps, the old password was removed.'''
4 Setting new password:
Step one: Open the "Control Panel"
Step two: Click the "User Account "
Step three: Select the account you wanna to set a new password.
Step four: Click "changing Account " and "set up password", then fill out the form as listed. Click "Create Password".
Thus, you have a personal login ID and Password, any one has no right to login to your computer with out this info.

Generally, password reset disk is a pre-defined one in windows. that
must be created already in that computer or operating system.
you have some option to unlock the password:
3.Adding another hard disk (with os) to remove the user profile. then you can work with the old computer.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
