You may want to reset the router to factory settings. I helped another user that was having the same problem He fixed it by looking on the router configuration for 'client lease time', which was set to 1440 minutes. That is how long he could connect to the internet before he was disconnected. The 'client lease time' was under DHCP settings on his router configuration page.
It you need any further instruction about this issue. Please let me know. If so, I will need you Linksys model number.
If you found this tip helpful, please remember to leave postive feedback.

Hello,
There are many reasons why this might be happening.. You could try the following steps..
1) Disconnect the power from router for a minute and reconnect and check.
2) Try changing the wireless channel and Network name and try re-connecting.
3) Check if there is an firmware update for your product and update if any update is available.
4) If none of the above steps work you will need to reset(a small button or hole at the back or base) and re-config your router. ( For that you need the CD given with the router and you will need the ISP settings.)
Hope this helped

/Sometimes you have to call the cable company and they will reset the modem online for you. After you have done the whole powercycle bit, you have to restart the computer. Make sure all the other computers or laptops are shut off when you reset.
Linksys wireless router has many bugs: connection issues like no connection or constantly having to reset the router. It isn't compatible with many network adapters. Hope this helps!
