in the delete any subkeys listed other than drivers and print processors
Locate and then expand the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\MonitorsView the list of subkeys. SOURCE: z53 is no longer attached to my computer.

In the printers and faxes window, double click the Z53 printer. This will bring up a new window for the printer. Next, click the printer link in the top of that window and then click cancel all documents.

2 laptops. 1) OS=XP.Z53 ok 2) OS=Vista. How to get Z53 printing?

I am afraid that Lexmark has no Vista driver for the Z53.

Here is the Vista Compatability list from Lexmark:

Cleaned up computer and can not find the disk to my lexmark Z53 to reinstall.

To download the driver directly from Lexmark's web site, go here: http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:0:0:0

Search for your printer model (Z53), select your operating system, select your language, then download the driver. After it downloads,double-click the file to launch it and follow the instructions on yourscreen.

Search engine lexmark z53

No, the Z53 is an old printer and Lexmark has not created Vista drivers for it. You might look at the Lexmark Z1300 which you can get for about $30.
