you must use the common sense in order to take out the screw with the appropiates tool such small screwdriver. and marking any parts that you are taking out., and proceeding in contrary sense. or you must go to the repair shop, if you do not have the skill. see the diagram attached. God bless you
The screen is fully damaged. You will have to get it replaced. Prior to that click a few snaps and transfer them to yous PC and check whether all the images are sharp and do not show any problem. Cause the service centre might try to get more money from you saying a different problem was found. If the images are fine. dont forget to mention the same to the service centre people.

I had/have the same problem. All I do is flip the camera vertical and it works. The screen displays appropriately, I think its some type of lens inside the camera that has came lose and it lines up properly when held vertical. It's a **** one solution, but it worked on mine and you can still take pictures. I would like to be fixed completely but I don't know how to. HELP!
No easy fix. Pressure or impact is the usual cause of a cracked LCD. Try not to get the black stuff on anything....it's pretty toxic! The screen needs to be replaced (assuming there's no other, internal damage). They are usually in the range of $75 US.
